Audio
Audio enhancement & stem separation
Clean up speech, remove noise, split songs into vocals, drums and more.
What it is
These APIs repair or take apart existing audio: removing noise and echo from voice recordings, levelling loudness, mastering, or separating a mix into stems such as vocals, drums, bass and other instruments. They do not create new content.
How pricing works
Billed per minute (or hour) of audio processed, sometimes in credits. Stem separation can be billed per stem or per track; we normalise to one minute of audio for the service's default operation.
We compare everything in one unit: USD per minute of audio.
Typical uses
- Cleaning podcasts, interviews and call recordings
- Preparing speech for transcription or cloning
- Karaoke, remixing and sampling workflows
- Loudness compliance for broadcast and streaming
What to compare
- Residual noise and artefacts after processing
- Separation purity (bleed between stems)
- Number of stems
- Processing speed
Watch out for
- Aggressive denoising can make voices sound watery; always listen to a sample.
- Stem separation leaves faint bleed, fine for remixing but not always for release-quality masters.
- Check rights before separating copyrighted music.
